Hello Grade 7 & 8 Band Families!
Welcome to back the Martin Area Band program! A package of
information will be sent home with your student today – we hope they had a
fantastic first day back to school!
There is some new information this year and our program has
grown immensely this year (yay!). Instead of having a combined Grade 7/8 band, each
grade will have their own band! Please see the information package on how this
will be scheduled. I thought it would be helpful to email out the information
too, in case the band note gets lost in the shuffle of the busy first days of
school.

- Topics you will find in the package (attached) include:
- Supplies required including the red and blue method books
- When band starts and a schedule for Sept-Dec
- Winter Concert Date: December 11
- An instrument loan form for families who are renting an instrument through the school
