Grade 7/8 Martin Area
Brass Players and Families,
On
Wednesday, October 17th, our elementary brass band students have an exciting opportunity
to take part in the University of Regina Brass Day. This brass-only workshop begins at 10:00 at
the University of Regina so students will be away from school for the morning
and a bit of the afternoon. Students
will be a part of sectionals as well as watching the noon hour recital
featuring the University Woodwind Faculty and guest artists. Below is
an itinerary of the morning with bus times included. Please
have the permission form that has been sent home with students and emailed to families turned in no later than Friday, October 12 OR email us to let you know your child has permission to attend.

Bring instrument, supplies (oil, etc), water bottle and a lunch

10:15 am Instrument

11:30 pm Lunch
(bring bag lunch)
11:45 pm Faculty
Recital – Riddell Theatre
12:40 pm Return
to school
