A huge congratulations to our grade 6, 7, & 8 band students who performed at the Downtowner’s Optimist Band Festival on March 22^nd and 23^rd. Our two concert bands and jazz band gave excellent performances and had the opportunity to work with some of Canada’s top band clinicians. A reminder to any students who have still not brought their $7 entrance fee for the festival to please submit this as soon as possible. Our grade 6 students have their next performance on May 9^th, and our grade 7/8 students have their next performance and trip on May 16^th. Stay tuned for information on these two dates. The date of the final band concert is May 25^th so please mark your calendars!
